A few months ago, Twitter let it be known that it was working on a geo-tagging API. It has allowed this semi-official announcement to create some buzz and hype, and some of us wondered when it would ever be released. Twitter have also published best practices such as opt-in and full disclosure.
In a few weeks, we shall be revisiting the API with a technical overview and how-to.
